A sad day

Well, my little computer has lived a good life. It has assisted me in accomplishing numerous tasks without which I could never have completed them. It faithfully travelled up to IWU nearly EVERY SATURDAY for 18+ months. It entertained me when my professor was boring (enough said). It has brought countless amounts of joy to people by assisting me with online purchases. Via i-tunes & my ipod it has helped me to lead a healthy lifestyle.... walking and running. It has no doubt - greatly helped my marriage by efficiently managing our funds with our monthly budget. My faithful computer has also enabled me to avoid late fees by paying my bills online (& on time) and balancing our checkbook with online statements. It has enabled me to keep what is left of my sanity by connecting with the outside world through blogging and e-mail. It goes without saying - that my computer = being able to function.

Therefore, I deeply mourn the loss of my little blue dell laptop. It was a good friend. It was my steadfast companion. I do not know what I will do without it. I think I am in the first stage of grief still: DENIAL. It couldn't be gone. It was just working SUNDAY!!! But, alas, my hard drive is fried. It cannot locate the primary hard disc. (That is not good!) It must be replaced. But, how can one replace something so faithful and true?? Just toss it aside for a new model?? My heart is breaking and tears are streaming down my face as I type these words. I can barely see the keyboard.

Actually - on a more serious note. I WILL NEVER buy a Dell again. It had quite a few serious glitches. Although despite that - I pampered it and it survived for over 4 years. I think that I probably a good lifespan for a junky Dell.

So, I don't know when I will be able to post again. I will occasionally have access to the internet. So, we shall see. Many blessings to you, your computer, and internet access. Good night and good luck. ;-)
