Did you see the lunar eclipse on Wednesday evening? I thought it was really cool. I saw it closer to the end - it was a very cool grayish purple color. Awesome.

A total lunar eclipse occurs when the full moon passes into Earth's shadow and is blocked from the sun's rays that normally illuminate it. During an eclipse, the sun, Earth and moon line up, leaving a darkened moon visible to observers on the night side of the planet. The moon doesn't go black because indirect sunlight still reaches it after passing through the Earth's atmosphere. The entire event is visible from South America and most of North America (on Feb. 20) as well as Western Europe, Africa, and Western Asia (on Feb. 21).

A night out with the girls!!!

Saturday night Rach, Beth, Jodi and I went to a Point of Grace/Selah Concert. It was a lot of fun! So much fun! Um... we had lots of good laughs. Especially at the power hungry "usher" who yelled at us regarding our cameras. The story is that before the concert - we were taking pictures of each other. And of course - girls that scrapbook want a good picture so we took several different pix and we had two cameras. So, this lady comes down and reports, "We have been given strict orders to not allow any pictures taken in here." Poor Beth was on the end so it was primarily directed at her. Beth was extremely polite and apologetic. To which the Nazi Usher replies, "Well, if you continue taking pictures I will have to take your camera away!" HELLOOOOO! We were willing to comply - until you made that statement! ha ha. So, I looked all through the program - nothing about cameras. Before the concert - they made no announcement regarding cameras.... I mean come on GBS even does that announcement. There was eensy weensy print on the back of our tickets and that was it. What was extremely bothersome was that - all through the concert people were taking pictures with their flashes and I didn't see any other NAZI USHERS running down to snatch the cameras. So, here are a few pictures. I tried to take a few w/o the flash.. but they didn't come out so great. I think I am going to "borrow" Regi's off her blog. :-) Or she could e-mail them to me. ha ha.

In case you are curious - our next girls' night out is in March. (By then - they may have to roll me in because I will be so round I can't walk. ha ha) We are going to Stars On Ice. It's a long story but I had tickets last year and we had a horrid snow storm. So, I was sent the same number of tickets last year. Pretty good seats too! We shall see. Hmmmmmm....... I wonder if we will take our cameras with us. ha ha ha ha!

This was our first attempt and then..... look out here came the Nazi Usher. So, it isn't so great. Rach, I promise that I will not put this in my scrapbook. It's really not that bad anyway. The red eyes are very flattering on you. ha ha.

My pictures were starting to get a little tipsy. I guess I was so nervous that the Nazis would see me. I was shaking and sweating profusely. ha.
