Building a snowman with JR

Skiing at Roundtop

This was at the top of a Double Black Diamond. I didn't do this part very gracefully but the moguls later were okay. :-)

The Rest of our PA Trip

Okay so here is the rest of my trip in a nutshell. Maybe I'll get a few pictures posted this week. So after spending last weekend with Tiffany & the Rines - we left and drove to Newville, PA to see Matt & Susanna Redcay (Matt's sister).
Monday, we just hung around - Sue & I helped JR (3 yrs old) build a snowman while Caleb (7 months) was taking a nap.

Tuesday evening - we drove to Shamokin and spent the evening with Jeff & Andrea Straight. Their boys are so adorable. It was really great to visit with them and "catch up." We had good talk about money & Dave Ramsey.

Pris, Greg & their little girl Kineta ( 4/5 months) drove up to Sue's from Maryland. So, I had lots of time to hold "my babies." Wednesday - we all went skiing at Ski Roundtop.

Thursday - we went snowmobiling up on some PA mountain roads. Seriously - I thought I might die getting off the mountain. The roads were snow covered. No guardrail. Room for only ONE car. HUGE drop off if you veered off the road. Greg safely maneuvered us off the mountain. Phew!!!

Friday morning - we left PA and drove to Massillion, Ohio. There, I visited an old "college" buddy - actually a childhood friend. It's actually really amazing that we met as children at a church camp - were college friends - and are adult friends. (sniff...sniff....does anyone have a tissue?) Matt & I thoroughly enjoyed spending time with Myranda, Nathan, & their children. They are wonderful parents & so much fun. We hope to do it again. :-P

We left northern Ohio around 10:00 and arrived home in Cincinnati Saturday morning at 1:00 am. Thus concluded our travels this past week. It was back to the real world at 11:00 on Saturday at the nursing home. :-) We love spending time with family and friends. It was well worth all the driving. :-)
