A trip down memory lane for my family

Here are a few old pictures I found while digging through boxes. Yes, unfortunately we still have a few boxes. Mostly all my books which I love and miss so dearly. . . but we don't have any place for them. Well, I figured I would put up a new post. Hopefully, they aren't "controversial."

Tiffany is going to kill me for posting this pix. This is what happens on a Sunday afternoon when Mom takes a nap & we don't. I think we were trying to make pizza dough - I don't think it turned out right. :-) Love ya Tiff!

Well, I have been tagged twice. I figured I'd do you all a favor and tell you 7 random facts about me. But, I am wondering: who is my target audience? Things my family wouldn't know? Or friends? Distant friends? Or all you random lurkers out there?

1. I enjoy playing the flute. I took flute lessons for 10 years (4th grade - freshman year of college). Jan - Jun 2006 I was a member of Anderson Community Band. (Then, I quit.)

2. I worked for a year and a half to save money for a trip to France. I went my senior year of
high school with my French V class. Paris, Tours, Rouen, Normandy Beaches....

3. Technically, I had until I was 18 or still could have dual citizenship because my Dad is a Canadian and lives in Canada.

4. Three things that are on my to do list before I die: take a pottery class (did this once in high
school), learn to play the guitar, take Karate or Tae Kwon Doe.

5. My family is the best gift I have ever been given....including all the aunts, uncles, cousins....
yeah. You too! (even though I live so far away...)

6. Just thinking about Jreck subs..... makes my mouth water. I can taste it.

7. I believe that life is a very tricky balancing act. It's about priorities. I want my life to be balanced in every area... (okay I am a little melancholy).... eating right, exercise, sleep, family time, friends, finances, use of time, my relationship with God versus "rules", leisure activities, serving, and taking time to be filled.

8. This is a bonus one free of charge: I think that it is important every year or couple of years to go to a Marriage Conference. It's like taking your car in the shop for a tune up. Also, I am a very big fan of Women of Faith conferences. You laugh and you cry. It's wonderful. (Yes, girls, this year the Columbus date is too close to my due date.) We may have to hit up a different city. :-)
