Wow.... over the weekend we enjoyed some beautiful weather. Especially today with it being in the 60s. Over the weekend - I enjoyed two WONDERFUL walks outside. It makes me VERY VERY anxious for Spring/Summer. Then, to top off the wonderful weather today - Matt cooked burgers on the grill and we ate OUTSIDE on our back porch. I guess I am kind of an outdoorsy - nature girl. I am DYING to be able to get outside more. I am getting a little stir crazy all cooped up.

PREGNANCY LESSONS I HAVE LEARNED.....
Never send a hungry pregnant woman to the store for a package of buns :-)
It may be necessary to trade an innie for an outie. (Not an Audi)
Waking up with "sausage fingers" is okay.
After waking in the night.... 5 minutes later.... success.... I finally managed to roll over!!
Some people just cannot resist the charm of my "bowling ball" belly.
Tying shoes may require interesting yoga like maneuvers.

Pregnancy survival skill: How to get out of a soft chair
Put your feet flat on the floor and bend from the hips. Push on the armrests with your hands! Use your stomach muscles. If upward motion is still elusive, pick up your magazine and yell for more chocolate peanut butter cup ice cream. (Standing up is totally overrated anyway.)

Wow! Those burgers look yummy!! We had a beautiful day yesterday, too, (51 degrees the high) and I spent several hours outside doing errands :-) Sounds nasty for tonight and tomorrow - may accumulate 1/4 to 1/2 inch of ice? Spring will be welcome, but probably won't be real soon :-(. Hang in there, Tar - only a few more weeks! So exciting!! Love, Aunt Mern
hmm....icecream!! I think if I ever decide to take the motherhood step, icecream with be my food of choice on a daily basis!
lol - you had me laughing.
Don't you think it is about time for another picture??? I'm wanting to see that bowling ball belly.
Congrats on your little one soon to arrive. Those pregnancy lessons are sooo true! It will all be over soon and you will move on to learning all the lessons of parenthood!! Good luck!
I loved your pregnancy learning list. And turning over in bed - I really sympathize. I would just whisper to Darrell, "Rotisserie Lizzy" and he knew I was just trying to find a good spot, not timing contractions. . . :>)
Hope everything continues to go very well and quickly!
Liz
Great post Tara! I'm totally with you on the summer thing -- cabin fever has really got me crazy! I also love the pregnancy laughs -- I'm learning these wonderful lessons and I'm sure it will only get more interesting! ;-) Can't wait to meet your new little one!
