Okay, we actually had a "valentine's day" date a few weeks ago. We had a gift certificate to P.F. Chang's that we received as a Christmas Gift. (Thanks RE!!) So, we saved it for a special occasion. I just love to eat there. It is so yummy! I could go on and on about the food. Typically it is really packed out on V-day. Actually - even on the weekend when we went there the wait was over an hour and a half. But, thankfully - we made reservations. :-P
The other thing that we wanted to do was go to the Omnimax and watch "Ski to the Max." This is a show that is only on Saturdays. All in all - it was entertaining and enjoyable. But, I must say that I was slightly disappointed at the actually "ski" clips in the film. Unfortunately, it did nothing for our itch to ski. It did make me pretty anxious for Christmas 08. We have big plans for "Grandma Powell" to watch our little girl while we go hit AT LEAST ONE mountain in Vermont. :=)
So, anyway. Last night - we did have a very nice evening at home. Matt came in gave me a few items. He said, "This is what every woman wants, isn't it?"

Hey Tara,
Sounds like a nice Valentine's day for you guys! He did GREAT!, he's a good "kid" anyway, I knew it from the first time I met him! But I don't think you mentioned what you got him? I hope you didn't forget to get him anything and end up making him cry!!!
Love you & can't WAIT to babysit the little sweetie, maybe we can get Brandon to stay with me too - it'll either make me or break me as a Grandma, right???
Hey...cute post! Matt did a good job! Love you guys and can't wait until my little princess arrives!! Yeah!!
Hey, Tara! How are you? I really enjoy checking your blog, but I'm incredibly lazy when it comes to leaving comments!
